“BIBS allowed me to discover a lot of smart people, who have a genuine interest in learning cutting-edge business concepts and management methodologies.”
Before joining BIBS to do my bachelor, I have applied to many different programs and analyzed the pros and cons of several private schools and public universities. All of my entrance examinations were successful, but I have chosen BIBS. The reason was simple: my goal was not only to get a degree, but knowledge and experiences. A degree can certainly help you at the beginning of your career, but later, it becomes less relevant. The classes were up to my expectations: professors were not only academic scholars but mainly professionals teaching from a practical perspective. Moreover, BIBS allowed me to discover a lot of smart people, who have a genuine interest in learning cutting-edge business concepts and management methodologies, and exploring how to apply them in real business and management situations. They contrast considerably from the typical public university students which I met during my undergraduate studies who were less engaged and motivated.
My advice for future undergraduate students is to “go for it”, it’s really a great experience. I believe that it is not about the degree, it is about gaining knowledge, developing capabilities, and living life-changing experiences, and it is what BIBS brought me. Then, the final impact of your study depends on your capacity to use what you have learned and maximize the networking opportunities provided by the school to advance your career. After graduating, I had numerous stimulating professional experiences and took on several challenging positions.
